We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Supervisor to join our team at Buffalo Center, a 200-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in Buffalo, NY. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

**Responsibilities:**
As a Healthcare Supervisor at Buffalo Center, your responsibilities will include:

* **Scheduling and Staff Management:**
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care
• Develop and implement schedules to meet the needs of our residents and staff

* **Quality of Care:**
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to our residents, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
• Ensure that all residents receive comprehensive and compassionate care that meets their unique needs and preferences

* **Safety and Compliance:**
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by implementing policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing long-term care facilities

* **Communication and Collaboration:**
• Provide clear and concise communication to residents, families, and staff regarding care plans, progress, and concerns
• Foster a positive and supportive work environment through effective collaboration and teamwork

**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you must have:

* A valid NYS RN license
• Minimum 3 years of experience in long-term care or a related field
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff to deliver exceptional care
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and e-prescribing systems
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Availability to work every other weekend
