Radiologist - Interventional Radiology Specialist Location: Port Arthur, TX
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologist with a preference for Interventional Radiology (IR) expertise to join our dynamic team in Port Arthur, TX. This position offers a competitive salary and an opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility with a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of interventional procedures, including but not limited to angiography, biopsies, drainages, and catheter placements.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques to guide procedures and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide diagnostic imaging services including CT scans, MRI, X-rays, and ultrasound as required.
- Analyze and interpret imaging studies to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Work closely with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to determine the best imaging and interventional approaches for patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, imaging results, and procedural details.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable healthcare regulations, safety standards, and institutional policies.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiology with subspecialty training or experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Current medical license to practice in Texas or eligibility to obtain.
- Proven expertise in performing a wide range of interventional radiology procedures.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to interpret various imaging modalities.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Competitive base salary starting at $465,000+ annually, with additional compensation based on experience and performance.
