About the Role

Soliant, a leading healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a dedicated Communication Skills Specialist to support Speech-Language Pathologists in school environments.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional to assist with conducting assessments and evaluations of students' communication needs. This role involves collaborating with SLPs to develop tailored education plans and providing direct therapy services to students under their supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' communication skills.
  • Support SLPs in developing and implementing individualized education plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students under SLP supervision.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure students receive effective support.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field.
  • Current state certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or eligibility for certification.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Estimated Salary: $40,000-$60,000 per year

This salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.
