Job Title: Multi-Family Superintendent

The Annex Group is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Multi-Family Superintendent to oversee the coordination and execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule projects, including look-ahead schedules, to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure schedules are on track and meet projected delivery dates
  • Schedule manpower daily, weekly, and monthly in accordance with project master schedules
  • Document, quality control, and safety oversight on the job site
  • Control project costs by weekly evaluation of labor, material, and equipment costs
  • Successfully receive and inventory materials procured by the general contractor
  • Evaluate work in place or proposed budget estimates based on actual incurred output and historical comparable analysis
  • Demonstrate superior construction process knowledge and possess strong field acumen, awareness, and technical expertise
  • Ensure successful project delivery by recognizing and meeting all owner/client needs
  • Provide leadership through team building and communication
  • Manage, mentor, and coach project-level subordinates, foremen, carpenters, laborers, etc.
  • Ensure an organized and tidy job site
  • Schedule and ensure the success of building and site inspections
  • Maintain a good relationship with local officials
  • Prepare and input daily reporting and photo documentation in Procore in conjunction with the Assistant Superintendent
Requirements:
  • Field experience is highly valued, and a Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • Multi-family market experience is required
  • Significant experience with at least 10 years as a manager of commercial construction activities in the field
  • Superior construction knowledge, excellent personal management skills, scheduling expertise, good knowledge and use of cost control procedures, and the ability to monitor and potentially control several projects at a time
  • Working knowledge of email and MS Office is necessary
  • Ability and willingness to effectively use other job-related technology tools
  • OSHA, LEED, and other professional accreditations are preferred but not required
Work Environment:

The work environment is that of a fast-paced office with minimal to high noise levels. This position requires working independently as well as part of a team, and frequent use of a computer is necessary as well as all general office equipment. At times while on site, this position will be exposed to routine job site hazards and thus appropriate safety precautions will need to be adhered to in strict accordance to OSHA.

Salary: Up to $125k per year, DOE
