Job Summary

As a Licensed Master Electrician at Generator Supercenter of Shreveport, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical projects sold. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all electrical work is completed to code and meets the specified requirements of Generator Supercenter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Licensing

Register your license with the relevant municipalities, counties, townships, and other local authorities.

Electrical Troubleshooting and Testing

Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems to ensure that electrical systems are functioning correctly.

Load Testing and Preparation

Assist in load-testing generator packages and other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products.

Electrical Installation and Testing

Perform proper installation of all electrical equipment required to complete the fabrication of projects, including brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels, and other electrical components.

Quality Control and Assurance

Be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipment to ensure that all electrical work meets the required standards.

Team Collaboration and Communication

Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Previous Electrical Experience

Must have previous electrical experience, with some on-the-job training available.

Education and Certifications

High School Diploma or GED, and a working knowledge of the licensed wireman position and how it relates to the overall business and its objectives.

Skills and Abilities

Must have a clear understanding of AC/DC wiring, be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipment, and have good people skills with the ability to communicate well with others.
