Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Leader (RN) for a nursing position in Brighton, MA. The estimated salary for this role is around $90,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Position

This 36-hour day charge nurse position will serve patients at NWH, BWH, and BWFH. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can provide high-quality patient care and leadership skills to our team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of recent nursing experience in an acute or emergency setting and be able to work with various computer software applications and technologies. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and electronically.

Responsibilities
  • Plan of Care: Develop a plan of care that adheres to patient needs, safety, and diagnosis for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Teaching and Education: Provide teaching from time of admission and evaluate ongoing basis to meet the needs and abilities of patients and families learning style.
  • Discharge Planning: Initiate discharge planning on admission and evaluate on an ongoing basis for optimal patient safety and outcomes.
  • Patient Scheduling: Establish patient schedule in collaboration with others and adjust schedules timely and in collaboration with the patient's home-based clinical care team.
  • Medication Reconciliation: Reconcile medications accurately and timely at admission, discharge, and transfer, and integrate changes into the patient's care plan.
  • Referrals and Case Conferences: Make referrals to other disciplines and community resources to maximize patient safety and outcomes and identify patients for multi-disciplinary case conferences/rounding as needed.
