Nurse Generalist

At Cone Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the health of our communities. As a Registered Nurse Float position at Annie Penn Hospital, you will play a critical role in providing flexible nursing coverage across various units and departments as needed.

• Transition seamlessly between different nursing units and departments to provide comprehensive care and support in various medical situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and support staff to deliver patient-centered care and ensure effective communication across units.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions and needs, tailoring care plans based on individual diagnoses and medical histories.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations, offering immediate nursing care and assistance to stabilize patients.
• Assist with patient placements, admissions, and transfers, utilizing knowledge of bed allocation and capacity management to ensure optimal patient flow within the medical facility.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have:

• An Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• A valid Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• BLS (CPR) certification from the American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
• If working in a critical care area, ACLS certification is required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
