Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinic Patient Representative Senior to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets and directs patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Serves as a liaison between patients and medical support staff, facilitating effective communication and resolving issues.
  • Assists with scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and collecting payments.
  • Maintains accurate patient records and ensures that information is up-to-date and secure.
  • Provides administrative support, including answering phones, taking messages, and responding to inquiries.
  • Collaborates with front office lead/supervisor to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and address any issues that may arise.
  • Follows CHRISTUS Health guidelines related to HIPAA and maintains strict confidentiality.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and respectful experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of managed care and ICD9/CPT coding preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Three or more years of experience in a healthcare organization, with a focus on patient services and support.
