Job Title: Machine Learning Researcher

The Machine Learning Researcher will be part of our Fundamental Research team, reporting to our Chief Data Scientist. This team is responsible for developing and deploying AI-driven solutions using healthcare data to improve administrative and clinical functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement creative solutions for NLP problems in the healthcare domain
  • Train and tune large language models for optimal performance
  • Characterize the performance of solutions for speed and scalability
  • Develop and maintain unit tests for NLP capabilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate NLP into the product
  • Document solutions clearly and work with QA to ensure proper testing
Requirements:
  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
  • Familiarity with state-of-the-art NLP techniques, including large language models
  • Strong technical credentials in NLP, machine learning, and deep learning
  • Solid fundamentals in problem-solving, algorithm design, complexity analysis, mathematics, and statistics
  • Proficiency in a major programming language (Python, Java, Scala, or similar)
