Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for entering and processing personnel and payroll transactions, compiling and filing employment reports, and searching files to furnish information to authorized persons.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary contact for Kronos system management, addressing issues and concerns for Georgia Regional Hospital and Regions One and Three.
• Process and enter payroll/position transactions, docks, and adjustments, termination actions, and enrollments by established deadlines.
• Reconcile and resolve payroll issues, errors, and discrepancies as necessary prior to deadlines.
• Develop and implement efficient work processes for accurate and effective handling and processing of payroll and position actions.
• Ensure compliance with all Payroll deadlines.
• Run and complete Payroll and HR-related reports, queries, and genies.
• Provide support to employees and management regarding personnel and payroll transactions.
• Process and maintain leave records and information.
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience performing human resources job-related functions; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level HR Tech 1 (HRT010) or position equivalent.
Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
