Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing surgical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgery. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide surgical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgery.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room workflow.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and medical history.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical nursing.
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
