Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intellectual Property Attorney to join our team at the Bosch Group. As an Intellectual Property Attorney, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various IP agreements, sales, marketing, and technology agreements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IP protection mechanisms, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets. Experience with software licensing and open-source software agreements is also desirable.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple business units across North America. You will have exposure to commercial and industrial business segments and will be responsible for general commercial support, including purchasing, sales, and other commercial agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, and negotiate IP and technology clauses in all types of commercial agreements
  • Negotiate trademark and patent licenses
  • Advise on open-source software agreements
  • Provide general commercial support to business units, including purchasing, sales, and other commercial agreements
Requirements
  • J.D. from a U.S. accredited law school and member of the Illinois bar in good standing
  • 3+ years of experience in IP and commercial contract work in a law firm or corporate environment

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure includes base salary and may include bonus, commission, or additional benefits.
