Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Youth Program Coordinator to join our Expresiones Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in recruiting youth into programming, conducting after-school and summer activities, coordinating meetings and workshops, managing relationships with community stakeholders, and more.

Hacienda CDC is a Latino-led Community Development Corporation that has been serving Oregon's low-income communities for over 30 years. We offer a range of programs and services, including affordable housing, homeownership support, economic advancement, and educational opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit youth living at Hacienda housing sites and neighboring communities into programming.
  • Conduct after-school and summer activities that promote youth engagement and development.
  • Coordinate meetings and workshops that bring together community stakeholders and program participants.
  • Manage relationships with community stakeholders to build partnerships and support program goals.
  • Administer yearly program evaluation assessments and participate in program planning.
Requirements
  • A minimum of three years of experience in community organizing, social services, education, or similar fields.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or an associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • The ability to read, write, or speak Spanish.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A joy for working with diverse populations and a solid commitment to DEIA concepts.

  • A competitive salary estimated at $48,880 - $50,960 per year (paid hourly), depending on experience.
