Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for K-12 Students

Job OverviewWe are seeking a qualified SLPA to join our team in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, NM. This full-time position involves working with K-12 students, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this role is $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.
ResponsibilitiesAs an SLPA, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting speech-language pathologists in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
- Providing direct support to students with communication and learning needs, including modeling language skills and facilitating group interactions.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and communication for students.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid New Mexico SLPA license.
- Experience working with students with communication disorders, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
