About the Role:

As a Sales Associate at Talbots, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fashion-forward environment. We are seeking a talented individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and has a keen eye for style.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling valued and satisfied.
  • Work closely with the management team to build store business and achieve sales goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends and product knowledge to effectively style and recommend products to customers.
  • Participate in learning opportunities and accept direction, coaching, and feedback to maximize individual performance.
  • Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas, including clientelling, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate selling competence, styling expertise, and a love of fashion.
  • Driven to create, build, and cultivate relationships.
  • Possess a strong ambition and passion for achieving goals, both as an individual and as a member of the store team.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills and a high level of integrity.
  • Possess the technological competency to navigate a computer, iPad, or handheld system.
  • Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Able to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders, moving around regularly, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Able to bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
