**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a senior imaging specialist, you will play a key role in guiding and mentoring cardiovascular technologists in the performance of duties. Your expertise and leadership skills will ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our department.

**About the Role:**

This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Lead Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be responsible for leading and guiding cardiovascular technologists in the performance of duties, including preparing the unit for non-invasive and/or invasive cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all instrumentation/equipment is presented on the table in an established fashion, and preparing sterile fields for procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and guide cardiovascular technologists in the performance of duties
  • Prepare the unit for non-invasive and/or invasive cardiovascular procedures
  • Ensure all instrumentation/equipment is presented on the table in an established fashion
  • Prepare sterile fields for procedures
  • Obtain and prepare physician equipment for procedure to be performed
  • Prepare patients for procedures, respond to their questions, and ensure they are correctly prepped and draped in a sterile fashion
  • Enter patient and procedural information into computer systems
  • Monitor patient status during procedures, including hemodynamic data, electrocardiogram, blood pressure, chest pain, etc.

**Requirements:**

  • Vocational or Technical school Diploma required
  • Specialized license and/or certification required
  • Current Basic Life Support Professional certification or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification required
  • 5-7 years of technical experience and 2+ years of leadership experience required
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required

**Compensation:**

The salary range for this position is $64.15-$69.35 per hour, offering a competitive compensation package that reflects the importance of your role in delivering exceptional patient care.
