POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Radiology Imaging Specialist at Surgery Partners, you will be responsible for taking MRI exams and following established procedures for patient care and safety. This role requires a graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with participation in a call rotation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working knowledge of X-ray Equipment and Procedures, Anatomy and Physiology, and Radiation Safety. Ability to follow and apply written direction, with attention to detail when performing radiologic exams. Computer and keyboarding skills are also required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registered, Current State License, and BLS required. Working knowledge of MRI procedures and protocol, MRI equipment and hazards common to MRI, and skill in injecting contrast media. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when conducting MRI exams.
