We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN Ortho Trauma Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
  • Collaborate with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, managing all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
