Dedicated Housekeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at SMS Holdings in the Beaumont Emergency Room. As a key member of our cleaning staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and demonstrate a strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
• Sweep, scrub, finish, and polish floors
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
• Dust furniture and equipment
• Polishes metalwork
• Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork
• Wash windows, door panels, and sills
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area

Requirements

• No prior experience or training is required for this position
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in English
