Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our retail store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash receptacles.
- Respond to spills and other maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment as needed to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including checking and replacing light bulbs, and reporting any safety hazards to management.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
