Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Kennebunk, ME. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of highway and roadway projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage transportation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Planning & Design: Oversee the planning, design, and engineering of highway and roadway projects, including traffic studies, intersection improvements, highway reconstruction, roadway design, multi-modal projects, and construction plans.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Client Relations: Maintain and build relationships with clients, addressing their needs and providing regular project updates.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and financial reporting.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control and assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maine required (or ability to obtain reciprocity).
  • Experience working with departments of transportation (DOT).
  • Experience preparing proposals and project budgets.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
