Heavy Duty Truck Maintenance Technician

Seeking a highly skilled Fleet Vehicle Repair Specialist to join our team at US0102 Sysco Spokane, Inc. in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet by performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
About the Job:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for heavy-duty truck maintenance to take on a leadership role in our shop. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and customer satisfaction, we are looking for someone who can deliver exceptional results while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:- Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections on all fleet vehicles, including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, and light-duty vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems on all equipment, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, and clutches.
- Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups timely and efficiently.
- Mentor, teach, and share expertise with Fleet Technician I and II to aid in their development.
- 5+ years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, preferably in the class 8 trucking industry.
- Certifications in ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) and Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks.
- Expert knowledge and skill in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on all equipment.
- Knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEM's and component manufacturers.
This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance and flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The associate may occasionally be required to travel to other Operating Companies or the corporate office as business needs dictate.
Salary:The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
