BioLife Plasma Services is a leading company in the plasma collection industry, committed to providing high-quality plasma for life-changing medicines. As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse), you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Support Specialist to join our team at our Savannah, GA location. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine donor eligibility through proper management of informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion
  • Conduct medical history interviews and physical examinations to assess donor suitability
  • Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable test results
  • Evaluate donor reactions and follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies
  • Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
  • Currently licensed or certified as EMT-Paramedic in the state where responsibilities will be assigned
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
  • Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
  • Satisfactorily complete FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly wage range of $21.15 - $29.09, depending on qualifications and experience.
