Speech Therapist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team at FCM Group, LLC dba Nurse Next Door - Pearland & Kingwood. As a Speech Therapist, you will be working closely with patients to assess their speech needs and create personalized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for a Speech Therapist who is passionate about providing compassionate care to every patient. You will be responsible for meeting with patients, making evaluations, creating treatment plans, and adjusting goals as needed for successful outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with patients to discuss their speech journey, answering introductory questions and developing a strong rapport.
  • Create customized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs, setting short-term and long-term goals for their speech and wellness.
  • Implement the treatment plan, adjusting as necessary to ensure successful outcomes and documenting patient progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient needs, care, and outcomes, collaborating with families to ensure they have the knowledge and tools required for success.
Requirements
  • Active state license for practicing speech therapy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs, including the KINNSER system, with experience in home health settings an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
