Job Title: Salesforce UX/UI Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce UX/UI Developer to join our team at DEW Softech, Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and a strong foundation in UX/UI design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leverage Salesforce's dedicated data model: Public Sector Solutions configuration and/or customization to build and deliver Salesforce UX/UI design solutions that meet business requirements.
  2. Design detailed design specifications, system specifications, and program-specific requirements to create UX/UI design solutions that balance platform capabilities and design solutions.
  3. Participate in multiple programming activities and projects, adhering to the current SDLC process and common agile practices.
  4. Perform analysis, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation.
  5. Create UX/UI designs of varying complexity, leveraging the Salesforce Public Sector platform, that interface with desktop and mobile platforms.
  6. Create integrations using Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the State, including legacy systems.
  7. Code review custom-developed code and make necessary technical adjustments and recommendations.
  8. Manage organization-wide defaults, configuring permission sets, establishing role hierarchies, writing workflow rules.
  9. Maintain the code base and ensure it remains consistent with the overall application architecture.
  10. Adhere to industry-standard practice for ADA accessibility by utilizing knowledge of WCAG AA standards.
  11. Present, communicate, and document design work to internal teams and key stakeholders.
  12. Design wireframes, prototypes, user flows, interaction prototypes, user personas, storyboards, customer journeys, site maps, and other design specification material.
  13. Experience working with Salesforce's declarative development tools, including Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
  14. Familiar with frontend web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  15. Design custom user interfaces for specific business needs, including custom components and Lightning Web Components.
  16. Design user interfaces that are responsive and work well on multiple devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
  17. Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties through design and experience within design.
  18. Collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders to ensure that the user interface design is implemented correctly and meets business requirements and State User Experience guidelines.
  19. Utilize design tools provided by the State of New Hampshire.
  20. Perform basic platform configuration, creating reports and dashboards, and data management.
  21. Produce estimates of time and resources required to perform various tasks as part of a team. Review estimates for accuracy and completeness composed by other team members.
  22. Work as directed by DoIT management to meet DoIT coding standards and best practices and should be familiar with test-driven development and no-code/low-code custom maxim.
  23. Collaborate with Salesforce administrators on release cycles to deploy new functionality and updates to existing applications, objects, and code.
  24. Align with Salesforce recommended best practices.
  25. Must be comfortable taking appropriate steps to protect PHI/PII/PCI.

Requirements:

  1. Salesforce UI/UX Development experience: Required 5 years
  2. Experience with Salesforce's declarative development tools, including Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS): Required 5 years
  3. Expertise in setting up environments for Salesforce Public Sector Solutions: Required 2 years
  4. Experience and expertise with WCAG AA standards: Required 5 years
  5. Experience implementing wireframes and design solutions with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign: Required 5 years
  6. Experience with frontend web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery: Required 4 years
  7. Experience with APEX, SOQL, Creating Workflows, SDLC, Agile, SCRUM: Required 4 years
  8. Certifications: Salesforce User Experience Designer Certification: Highly Desired
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication: Required
