About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Workforce Planning Manager to join our team at Avis Budget Group International. As a key member of our workforce planning team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining models to predict future staffing needs based on business trends, historical data, and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain workforce forecasting models to predict future staffing needs
  • Assess workforce capacity and manage staffing levels to meet current and future operational requirements
  • Implement and refine processes for accurate workforce forecasting and planning
  • Analyze workforce data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations for staffing strategies
  • Develop and maintain metrics to track the effectiveness of workforce planning activities
  • Prepare detailed reports on workforce capacity, trends, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Recruiting, and Human Resources to align staffing plans with business objectives and address capacity issues
  • Facilitate workforce planning workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and address any concerns
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workforce planning efficiency and accuracy
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices related to workforce planning and integrate them into the organization's approach
Requirements
  • Proven experience in workforce planning, data analysis, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in reporting to senior management
  • Proficiency in workforce forecasting models and metrics development
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and facilitate effective meetings and workshops
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in workforce planning
  • Experience in a managerial or strategic role within a large organization
  • Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools and software
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and change management
