Job Summary:

As a Technical Lead at KBI Biopharma, you will play a key role in developing proposals that showcase our technical capabilities and project plans. Your primary responsibility will be to assemble information, including project background, product design, and technical details, to create clear and technically detailed proposals. You will work closely with the Sales, Project Management, and Analytical and Formulation Sciences Teams to ensure that our proposals meet the client's needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop proposals in consultation with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Project Management, and Analytical and Formulation Sciences Teams.
Review client RFPs, participate in client teleconferences, and discuss with supervisor to identify and clarify scope of work and deliverables.
Write, revise, and edit proposal drafts, including executive summaries, key assumptions, scope of work, timelines, pricing, Gantt charts, and Program Management requirements.
Review client RFIs, collate RFI responses based on RFI databases, and coordinate with cross-functional support/leads.
Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval.
Escalate client concerns and client project requirements, as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science with a minimum of 4-6 years of scientific or biotechnology experience in a research, development, manufacturing, or related technical support role; or a Master of Science degree with a minimum of 2 years of scientific or biotechnology experience.
Proven scientific writing skills with the ability to develop, review, and evaluate the content of scientific documentation and collaborate with technical staff to meet agreed-upon deadlines.
Analytical strength, with attention to detail and solution-oriented approaches.
Strong orientation for quality and customer service along with a high level of integrity and personal responsibility.
Ability to work within cross-functional teams to fulfill client needs and expectations.
Previous experience with proposal or RFP writing is a plus.
Ability to multi-task and apply time management processes effectively.
Capable of handling and prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
