Battery Assembly Specialist

The Battery Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling battery systems, components, and sub-assemblies individually, and assembling these into a battery container. The individual will use various tools and equipment to maneuver components and test components to verify proper operation and safety of all electrical components.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and assemble components, wires, and assemblies per work instructions
- Use mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics to complete assemblies and installations
- Inspect, install, and test various components with various test equipment or tools
- Read and interpret testing results
- Work with engineering to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
- Properly identify parts and inspect for quality or performance issues
- Meet daily production targets and schedule
