Advanced Practice Provider

This position provides direct care and clinically manages patients in the Department of Otolaryngology with a primary focus on providing ambulatory care to these patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work as part of a busy multidisciplinary collaborative surgical practice.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and manage pediatric patients with Otolaryngology needs
- Collaborate with Otolaryngology Surgeons and other specialists to provide comprehensive evidence-based care
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with Otolaryngology conditions
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and conferences
- Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in a pediatric or family nurse practitioner program (for NPs)
- Graduate of a nationally accredited physician assistant program (for PAs)
- Active, unencumbered registered nurse and advanced registered nurse practitioner licensure in the State of Washington (for NPs)
- Current national certification as a pediatric or family nurse practitioner (for NPs)
- Active, unencumbered physician assistant licensure in the State of Washington (for PAs)
- Initial certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (for PAs)
- Two years experience in advanced practice provider role
- Two years experience in pediatric healthcare
