Job Summary

The Senior Registrar Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Office of the University Registrar, overseeing daily activities, supervising staff, and providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff.

About the Job

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with a salary range estimated between $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage multiple units within the Office of the University Registrar, including class scheduling, registration, enrollment reporting, academic records, curriculum management, transfer evaluation/articulation, and degree clearance.
  • Develop and deliver complex data analyses and reports to University executive leadership, using expertise in web-based information systems, including student databases with integrated software applications.
  • Serve as University Registrar liaison with the Office of the Provost and other University leadership and academic divisions for institutional planning and support.
  • Directly supervise and manage staff, preparing annual evaluations, setting goals, coaching for success, and administering disciplinary measures as needed.
  • Oversight new and existing process, system, and software procurements, implementations/upgrades, serving as project manager on IT projects.
  • Liaison to University constituents and outside parties regarding FERPA, student data requests, and security access to student areas of the University database.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

A Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a University Registrar's office with increasing responsibility.Established functional, implementation, and enhancement experience with web-based information systems, including student databases with integrated software applications.Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills congruent with collaborative management style and a commitment to teamwork and camaraderie in all areas of the University.Strong appreciation for cultural diversity and inclusion.

  • Experience with Ellucian Banner software, CollegeNet 25Live, College Source uAchieve, NSC electronic transcript functionality, or CourseLeaf/Leepfrog products.
