Oregon Pride in Business is seeking experienced professionals to join our ORPIB Expansion Advisory Board. As a member, you will play a crucial role in guiding our strategic direction, enhancing our community presence, and fostering business growth within the LGBTQ+ community across Oregon and SW Washington.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ORPIB's expansion strategy and plans.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to ensure the organization's growth and sustainability.
  • Act as a liaison between local community stakeholders and the Board of Directors.
  • Facilitate connections between ORPIB and local businesses, government entities, and community organizations.
  • Assist in identifying and securing funding opportunities, including sponsorships, grants, and partnerships.
  • Support the development of fundraising strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide input on the creation and enhancement of programs that support LGBTQ+ businesses.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of ORPIB's programs and suggest improvements.
Qualifications
  • Significant experience in business, entrepreneurship, economic development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the LGBTQ+ community and understanding of the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ businesses.
  • Ability to contribute to long-term strategic planning and organizational growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire various stakeholders.
  • Strong network within Oregon and/or Southwest Washington's business, government, and community sectors.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience in advisory or board roles preferred.
