About the Role:

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Corrective Officer to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our residents.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and has the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting random on-site verification visits, monitoring resident activities, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly random on-site verification visits to the home and employment of all home confinement residents.
  • Monitor resident activities, including meals, visitor hours, and work details, to identify any potential issues or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident activities, including property inventories and disciplinary actions.
  • Perform searches of residents' vehicles and conduct urine analysis testing as required.
  • Work closely with facility staff to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in a related field preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license and personal vehicle available for company business.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
