Job Description

The Clinical Statistician position at Lifelancer is responsible for performing statistical analysis and data interpretation for clinical trials and research projects. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. degree in statistical science or related fields, plus 2 years highly relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 4 years highly relevant experience, with demonstrated ability and sustained performance.

This role involves leadership and project management skills, including resolving day-to-day work-related issues and problems, securing quality, improving efficiency and productivity of statistical and programming operations. Additionally, the Clinical Statistician will provide input to Case Report Forms (CRF) design and database/variable structure, review Data Management Plan sections relating to critical data collection and cleaning, and perform ongoing assessment and communication of data quality issues.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, based on national averages and considering factors such as location, industry, and experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ph.D. degree in statistical science, mathematical analysis or related fields plus 2 years highly relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 4 years highly relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability and sustained performance
  • Leadership and project management skills
  • Statistical planning and methodologies expertise
  • Programming skills, including ADaM dataset specifications and SDTM dataset specifications
  • Data validation and quality control expertise
