Job Description

This role requires a supportive and caring individual to assist inpatient care throughout nursing areas at Yale-New Haven Health.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to patients under the supervision of licensed personnel.
  • Transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services, and document services provided.
  • Observe patients who require constant observation for safety.
  • Perform receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate efficient unit functioning.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
  • Licensure: Current RI Nursing Assistant License and Basic Life Support certification required.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development within Yale-New Haven Health.
