Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Efficiency Technical Lead to join our team at Randstad Sourceright. In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering support for energy efficiency projects in the Renewables and Energy Efficiency organization. This includes evaluating investment grade audits, reviewing technical designs and savings estimates, and overseeing small and mid-sized projects to ensure they are cost-effective.

About the Role:

  • You will interface with PSEG associates, vendors, customers, and outside consultants to ensure that program rules and requirements are maintained, and information needed for management and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
  • You will identify, assess, examine, and standardize complex energy savings analysis within various Commercial & Industrial programs.
  • You will utilize a broad knowledge of business and engineering principles and practices, including financial and cost management, acquired through progressive experience.
  • You will develop technical documentation and engineering calculators to streamline technical reviews and improve quality of deliverables.
  • During storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Engineering
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience related to Energy Efficiency Projects or Project Management of construction, HVAC, or mechanical projects in Industrial & Commercial sectors.
  • You must be knowledgeable of Commercial & Industrial energy savings measures and techniques.
  • You should possess demonstrated leadership skills on critical projects or initiatives.
  • You should be familiar with applicable industry standards (ASHRAE, NJ Technical Reference Manual, etc.), building codes, and best practices.
  • You must have effective problem-solving, analytical thinking, decision-making skills, strong planning and organizing skills, and be adaptable and results-oriented.
  • You should demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment.
  • You should have clear and concise writing and verbal communications skills.
  • You should have strong attention to detail.
  • You should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & MS Word).
  • You must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel within PSE&G territory to conduct meetings with customers and constituents and manage relationships with contractors.

  • You should be able to work independently.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
