Environmental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health Specialist to join our team at the American Red Cross. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, volunteers, and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on environmental health and safety matters, including regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Develop and implement effective safety management programs to prevent injuries and illnesses in the workplace.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of safety protocols.
- Provide training and education to employees and volunteers on environmental health and safety best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Health, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental health and safety, with a strong background in regulatory compliance.
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CHCM, or ARM are highly desirable.
