Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Love's Travel Stops. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
  • Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean facilities with friendly faces.
  • Interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Requirements

  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in close quarters.
  • Ability to work in various temperatures and obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
