HVAC Development Support Specialist

Daikin Applied is seeking a skilled HVAC Development Support Specialist to work in support of HVAC development programs, technician installs, tests, calibrates, and repairs electromechanical and electronic measuring equipment. This role involves performing laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements, and the ISO 17025 standard. The successful candidate will also be responsible for setting up and operating complex laboratory equipment and instruments, identifying and reporting nonconformities and abnormal testing conditions, and maintaining a working knowledge of EH&S safety policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements, and the ISO 17025 standard
  • Set up and operate complex laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Identify and report nonconformities and abnormal testing conditions
  • Maintain a working knowledge of EH&S safety policies and regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 0-2 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 year Technical degree in a related field
  • Experience in the HVAC industry
