About Our Internship Program

Our Real Estate Management Internship is a 10-week paid internship in which you will rotate through all aspects of Property Management at an assigned community, including Leasing, Assistant Manager, Manager, Maintenance, Operations, and Corporate. You will be mentored by a senior leader at Trinity Property Consultants and may have the opportunity to work hands-on with our leadership team on assigned real-world special projects.

Compensation for this role is estimated to be $18-19 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
  • You will assist our residents in finding their perfect home through the Internship Program.
  • You will work side-by-side with our team of professionals to create a thriving and captivating living experience for renters across the nation.
  • You will advance your career knowledge in the ever-growing multifamily industry with an organization committed to excellent customer service and guided by our values.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
  • Practicing sales techniques
  • Marketing in-house and off-site, including developing marketing analysis reports
  • Learning and using industry software programs
  • Participating in property tours and site visits
  • Learning maintenance management proficiencies and techniques, including processing maintenance requests
  • Providing superior customer service
  • Completing market surveys
  • Learning and demonstrating proficiency in the leasing process
  • Processing accounts receivable
  • Clerical and phone support
  • Maintaining digital and paper records
  • Maintaining a community calendar of scheduled events
  • Completing pre-inspections to ensure rent readiness
  • Assisting with legal evictions processes
  • Practicing critical resolution decision-making skills and demonstrating ability to resolve resident complaints
  • Reviewing the financial move-out process
  • Additional tasks or duties as assigned by community leadership

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, administrative and organizational skills, time management skills, and a customer service orientation.

Educational Requirements
  • You should be enrolled in a 4-year accredited program, preferably in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Property Management.
  • Sophomore year completed by the start of the Internship is preferred.
