About the Role

This Customer Service Specialist position involves responding to incoming telephone inquiries from MFS clients, providing product knowledge about financial and non-financial transactions, and processing various routine and complex transactions while meeting department standards for productivity and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Responds to phone calls from existing and potential MFS clients regarding MFS products.
  • Processes financial and non-financial transactions, meeting or exceeding department standards for productivity and quality.
  • Resolves basic account problems and questions, and initiates research on more complex issues by directing them to appropriate work areas for resolution.
  • Communicates with shareholders, participants, broker/dealers, and others via telephone, fax, and email correspondence to verify information and clarify requests or provide documentation as requested.
  • Maintains proper documentation of telephone calls and performs additional duties as requested.
  • Interacts with other departments within the Service Center to resolve problems and answer questions.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 0-1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Detailed communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Employees in this role are required to be physically present in the office.
