Pharmacist - Mount Sinai Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense medications accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide pharmacological information to the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Monitor patient drug therapies and make recommendations as needed.
- Perform clinical chart reviews and patient care unit inspections.
- Prepare parenteral medications using sterile aseptic technique.
- Maintain adequate medication supply and inform supervisor of impending shortages.
- Intervene and document interventions to correct or improve pharmacotherapy.
- Report adverse drug events and medication errors.
- Take responsibility for the operation of the assigned pharmacy area and activities of all supportive personnel.
- Maintain pharmacological knowledge by reading professional publications and attending workshops and conferences.
- Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy (ACPE).
- 0-2 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist.
- NYS Licensed Pharmacist.
