Ascension is seeking a skilled Breast Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Diagnostic Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography imaging services to our patients.

About the Role

In this role, you will operate equipment and perform various mammography-related procedures, preparing and positioning patients, and selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

You will also explain procedures and educate patients about the importance of regular mammography in preventive breast health, developing and evaluating film for technical quality, and ensuring prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in radiologic technology, with certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within 12 months of hire date.

A High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, or an Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience is also required.
