We are seeking a Patient Care Associate to join our team. As a Patient Care Associate, you will be responsible for performing assigned duties and tasks, and serving as support to professional personnel providing care to hospitalized patients.

The estimated salary for this position is around $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job DescriptionPurpose:

To perform assigned duties and tasks, and serve as support to professional personnel providing care to hospitalized patients.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform and/or assist with the physical care of selected/assigned patients; perform assigned procedures (e.g. dressing changes, taking vital signs, giving enemas); record care given on designated forms.
  • Assist in the admission, transfer and discharge process as assigned; provide postmortem care; prepare patients for examinations/tests/procedures; participate in conferences held by nursing/health team which assess the needs of patients and plans nursing care.
  • Carrries out infection control protocols; maintains standard precautions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
