Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Saint Mary's Hospital. As a member of our Respiratory department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering compassionate and innovative healthcare.
About the Role- Administer respiratory care services, including ventilation therapy, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct routine assessments, perform ventilator checks, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Develop and lead educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare staff on respiratory care and disease management.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care with a minimum of an Associate's degree.
- Current State of CT Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Competitive salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.
- Part-time schedule with 24 hours per week, two 12-hour shifts per week, 7a-7p.
- Great shift and weekend differentials.
