Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work in a remote, rural community in NW Alaska. We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Norton Sound Health Corporation. The ideal candidate should be laid back with a sense of adventure and have experience with Hologic Dimensions mammography units and GE Optima 660 CT machines.

Responsibilities include performing and providing quality care and images to the people of the Bering Straits Region, obtaining and documenting patient clinical information, and participating in standby call. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of radiology standards and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include ARRT registration, BLS/BCLS certification, and experience with Cerner. All travelers are required to show proof of completed COVID vaccinations and recommended boosters, and flu vaccines are also required.
