About the Role

At Atrium Health, we're seeking an exceptional Revenue Cycle Optimization Specialist to join our team as a Strategic Process Lead. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the development, standardization, and maintenance of revenue cycle business processes.

About You

We're looking for a highly skilled professional with 2-3 years of experience in revenue cycle operations, preferably with a CPA certification. Your excellent leadership skills, including project management, negotiation, delegation, prioritization, team building, time management, customer service, and conflict resolution, will enable you to drive consistency of practice between revenue cycle applications.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with revenue cycle operations, HIT, and site operations leaders to develop strategic direction and ensure that revenue cycle technology solutions enhance quality, safety, patient experience, and compliance.
  • Manage, oversee, and continuously evaluate revenue cycle business processes, problems, and requirements for assigned applications to support achievement of Atrium Health's strategic goals.
  • Develop comprehensive testing methodologies to support system upgrades and oversee implementation of those methodologies.
  • Ensure workflow documentation keeps up with changes to the EMR and drive consistency of practice between revenue cycle applications.
  • Serve as a leadership liaison between revenue cycle operations, revenue cycle Health Information Technology, and site operations, maintaining positive, responsive relations between all stakeholders and the workflow optimization team.

  • Advanced knowledge of best practice revenue cycle business processes and the technologies that support them.
Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
