Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor to join our team at New Mexico Junior College.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the Nurse Aide Certification classroom, providing support to students during instruction and skills check-offs, and supervising clinical rotations. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of high-quality educational programs, ensuring that students receive the best possible learning experience.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, helping them to achieve their academic and professional goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and community partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to inform teaching and curriculum development.
Requirements
  • A current unencumbered nursing license, as well as at least one year of nursing home work experience or five years of Nurse Aide classroom instruction experience.
  • Eligibility to work in New Mexico.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits

This full-time position offers an estimated annual salary range of $40,000 - $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
