Job Description

Hybrid 3 days on-site (Wednesday required), 2 days remote

**Job Summary**: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for recording general ledger journal entries, preparing client invoices, conducting account reconciliation, and analyzing financial statements to provide concise explanations for variances.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Utilize financial data to prepare and record accurate general ledger journal entries.
  • Prepare cash and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing clear explanations for fluctuations.
  • Research period-over-period variances in revenue, cost of sales, and expense, offering logical explanations for the changes.
  • Prepare self-reporting invoices for enhancement and insurance type activities, meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy.
  • Assist internal clients by providing information necessary to file tax returns, prepare insurance documentation, and any other required information related to the entity.

**General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**

  • Familiarity with budgeting, cash management, and financial analysis processes.
  • Understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of various banking functions.
  • Proficiency in creating spreadsheets and using MS Office and Account Software (Oracle Fusion).
  • Strong analytical and statistical examination skills for complex problem-solving.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
