Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. This role will involve providing comprehensive support services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment and evaluation services to identify substance use disorders and co-occurring needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including counseling and case management services.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Document all services provided, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and regulatory guidelines governing substance abuse counseling.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field (social work, sociology, psychology, etc.).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment.
  • CACII certification required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Compensation and Benefits:
