Job Overview

We are seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at the Bob King Automotive Group. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, some automotive knowledge, and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, efficient service and continual communication.
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out additional assignments to leave a positive impression.
  • Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, whether phone or in-person, to assure the customer is not mishandled.
  • Ensure daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
  • Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
  • Maintain Customer Success Index at or above company standards.
  • Assist in explaining vehicle problems, partnering with Technicians as needed; order parts and tools as necessary.
  • Oversee administration of warranty claims for customers, partnering with Service Management.
  • Adhere to company standards and dress code, agreeing to wear a uniform daily.
  • Maintain good working relationships with factory(s), vendors, and foster positive customer relations.
  • Team Player attitude, helping out where needed.
  • Navigate computer systems to get the customer's vehicle checked in and ensure all processes run smoothly, comfortable with mobile apps and technology.

Qualifications
  • Dealership or Equivalent Automotive Industry EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED to be considered for an interview for this role.
  • Great at Multi Tasking while still focusing on the customer perception and experience.
  • Organized and friendly personality.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple computer systems at once.
  • Time management skills, Detail Oriented in all areas of your work.
  • Fantastic communication skills with your customers.
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Consistent record of service and sales success.
  • Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results.
  • Team oriented and self-motivated.
  • Able to work with little supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills with customer follow up.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
Pay Plan

Service Advisors will be paid a draw, split into two payments of $1,500 per paid period semi-monthly. On the 15th of the following month, commission will be paid based on several variables, including customer pay labor gross profit, warranty labor gross profit, internal repair orders, and more. This will be reviewed further during the interview process.
